Beach Time

Hello All.
No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth- just been busy with life. So in order to be forgiven of my naughtiness I am including pictures of our latest trip to the beach. You will notice the extra young man in the pictures- yes it is Jason. We had a blast with him here. It is amazing how he has Scott's sense of humor. They are a lot alike. Sometimes I would glance at him out of the corner of my eye and think it was Scott. Anyway, Shelby is in Texas with Aunt Becky, Cal is back home and going crazy thinking about all he needs to do and Dylan is here dreading the days until school starts. I am glad Youth Conference is over but missing the kids already. There is a dance Saturday night- it is going to stink to go to it without Shelby. Tell me to be brave and go anyway.

Here is the reason for the late start this morning. Cal found a skate park.

They went last night and again this morning.

Now they are in the mountains and

heading in the home stretch! Salt Lake City here we come!!!!

Saturday nite and the kids are in Denver. Here is a picture of the hotel that Cal found on his phone for only $70.00 What a deal. I am jealous. He said the view out the window of Denver is awesome!

Not to mention the buffet in the morning!

The kids made it last night past St. Louis.

They are on the road again this morning hitting some rain.

It is amazing that Cal can drive at all with the phone calls he keeps getting from Matt and I.

They are going to try to make it to Denver today and then sleep in tomorrow for the big pull in to Salt Lake.

On the Road-

Hello!

The kids are on the road.

They left Friday morning at 7:00 and it is now 3:30 and they are in Tennessee.

Cal has big hopes of getting to St. Louis tonight- but we shall see.

Here are some pictures from Shelby's phone. They found an awesome Mexican Joint for a late lunch. Cal also found an outlet store and bought 2 pairs of pants and some sunglasses for $25.00 Both Grandma and Grandpa would be proud! Keep checking back for more pictures on Day 2.
